iRace!

Yes!! We won the iRace! It was a kinda expected results. Not because we are proud, but because we have confidence in the cohesiveness of our CG right from the beginning. We expect to win and we won! This is supposed to be an ADULT event, but yet the rest of the groups looked pretty young and youthful. I guess our CG is the most senior group among the rest of the CGs. Nevertheless, our synergy was great! We ran while the younger groups walked and we completed everything 15min earlier than the 2nd group that came in.

Chiong ah!! It's now or never!
Photobucket

Look at how dedicated our Jean was to our team! Barefooted just for the team.
Photobucket

And we all worked together to look for.. an egg.
Photobucket

Here's Jas, Roger, Jimmy and myself.. Sad that my solo picture with Jimmy was blur.
Photobucket

After the game, relak one corner... and cheeeese.. Our lao da left without taking a group photo with us. He may be the oldest, but he's definitely one of the fastest and most onz person in our CG.
Photobucket

We won! Here's Wendy presenting the $80 Capital Land vouchers to Roger our new friend. (An evidence of our victory!)

It was a TIRING, but really fun day.

Tiring but fun times!

1st of all, just want to say that I've decided not to work. I guess the time should be better spent on assignments (better grades) than on getting $42 per week. I must set my priority right.

Anyway, I had a great time last Saturday. We went to Hougang Mall for breakfast and then to Punggol Field for photo shooting. As usual, Jimmy had a great time taking lots of photos. He climbed into the forbiddened Matilda's House. Ops! And he took some pictures inside. I waited outside with 2 other friends and I was badly burnt by the scorching sun. After that, we went to the National Museum!! Can you believe it?? Haha.. It was an interesting outing as I think I'll never suggest to go to a museum especially when we had to pay an entrance fee of $10. Well, thank God, it's national women's day! So we ladies got a free complimentary ticket each! My poor Jim had to pay $10. It's still a blessing though, cos he saved on my entrance fee.

We went for the Greek Sculptures and the History of Singapore. They were rather interesting. Jimmy was busy shooting while I was busy looking at the illustrations of different sculptures. He stopped shooting when we went to look at the History of Singapore. A hearing device was provided for each person to listen to the illustrations of different galleries. It was cool.. but I guess too overwhelming with too much information. We quickly browsed through the different sections and left for the movies.

Watched The Leap Years. It was a rather touching story. The hooking up part was very romantic. But I can't imagine waiting for someone for 12 years. I already miss Jimmy quite badly if I don't see him for a few days.. The couple in the story can tahan not seeing each other for 4 years!! And they only meet every 4 years!!! HOW??!! I don't think I can do it. Can you?

No photos at the moment as we'd had a busy Sun and Jimmy doesn't have much time to process and send me the photos yet.. I'll update and post the iRace event soon!

Blunder!

I woke up at 6.15am today and rushed down to school to teach. Was in a mad rush as I only managed to reach the school at 7.15am. Rushed to get rafia string to do 4 hoops, printed the evaluation sheet and rushed out just in time to meet the kids at 7.30am. Lo and behold!! They told me their PE lesson was at 8am...

Anyway, I was very thankful to the teachers that were so kind to me. It was raining and I took the whole hall all to myself. I'm so sorry for taking up their space. I guess they were very understanding. Thanks to Mr Low for negotiating for the space for me. Well, I still did not complete my activities.. Got to plan lesser for the next few lessons.. It's Mar hols for the kids.. so no need to wake up so early next week. But I still have morning lessons in NIE. Can't wait to graduate!!!

Starting work today.. Actually I really don't feel like working but I guess I NEED to. I hate this. Sometimes, life just isn't fair.

I feel so sleepy now..

I love you!

I didn't expect my boyfriend to read my blog entry so soon and I'm really happy that he took the effort to talk to me with a webcam so that I get to see him and won't miss him too much.. That's so sweet of him! BUT, I was really kinda angry because he only showed me his hands at the keyboard.

And I think men and women are really wired so differently. He thought I was joking when I said that I was angry and didn't want to talk to him.. Well, maybe it's really not a big deal. Nothing to be angry about. BUT it made me feel that he doesn't care.

If you are reading this, I just want you to know that I care about whether you care. Maybe it's the way you always reply me (eg. lol, wat sia..) that makes me feel that you are not taking what I say seriously. Maybe I'm just over-reacting. BUT this is how a woman is... Haha. Anyway, I'll get over it the next day and I STILL love you BUT don't try this too often.

Thanks for reading.

so what do u think?

Went back to school to have lunch with Wendi and Yng Ling. Wendi said, I'm the only gal who'll be so free to meet people even when I have a boyfriend. Well, what to do? My boyfriend's not free... Do I sound sad? Ya. I'm kinda sad..

Bad day??!

The 2 kids that I was supposed to teach yesterday, were absent from school. So I had to deal with 2 new kids. Was pretty demoralised by the second one because nothing that I do seemed to interest her. She sat there for the 1st 5-10min emotionless despite me bringing different things to her. So it was a tiring day. I left the place with shoulder aches and a bad headache.

Then I made a wrong decision to take a ride from a friend to Sengkang to take a bus home. I missed my bus and train at Sengkang and had to take a cab home. It would have all been good if I took a train straight home from Sembawang. And I caused Wendy and Nicole to take a longer route home as well. I felt so bad.

I must think carefully before making any decisions.

Grandma is discharged!

Praise the Lord! Grandma is home already! She has been discharged by the doctor. My mum said she has never seen anyone staying in the hospital without taking medication. For the few weeks that she stayed in the hospital, no medication was given to her. She was only under observation for her malnourished state. So now that she's home, my aunt has to make sure that her meals are nutritious and balanced! That's why I said she's one strong woman!

Just when I thought that I'll see my J today, he's busy with his assignments and not able to join us. Kinda sad but can't do anything about it. Hope that the following weeks will be better. Poor him. He has been having long days and feeling tired ever since the Vietnam trip. God, pls strengthen him!

(10-16 points) You are Garfield:
You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how to have fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know what you are doing and you are always in control of your life. Others may not see things as you do, but that doesn't mean that you always have to do what is right. Try to remember, your happy spirit may hurt you or others.

(17-23 points) You are Snoopy:
You are fun; you are very cool and popular. You always know what's in and you're never out of style, you are good at knowing how to satisfy everyone else. (24-28 points) You are Elmo:
You have lots of friends and you are also popular, always willing to give advice and help out a person in need. You are very optimistic and you always see the bright side of things. Some good advice: try not to b e too much of a dreamer. Dreaming too big could cause many conflicts in your life.

(29-35 points) You are Sponge Bob Square Pants:
You are the classic person that everyone loves. You are the best friend that anyone could ever have and never wants to lose. You never cause harm to anyone and they would never not understand your feelings. Life is a journey, it' s funny and calm for the most part. Stay away from traitors and jealous people and you will be stress free.

(36-43 points) You are Charlie Brown:
You are tender, you fall in love quickly but you are also very serious about all relationships. You are a family person. You call your Mom every Sunday. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a few Birthdays. Don't let your passion confuse you with reality.

(44-50 points ) You are Dexter:
You are smart and definitely a thinker... Every situation is fronted with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong family principles. You maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes. Try to do less over thinking every once in a while to spice things up a bit with spontaneity!

holidays??

This week is supposed to be holidays for me but it didn't seem like holidays at all. Did some work at home on Tue, went to sch on Wed, going for a field trip later and tomorrow I have teaching at Rainbow centre. And there's still one whole load of things to do. I am very demotivated to do anything.

Things to do:
1. Watch video and plan for tomorrow's lesson - On-going (5 weeks)
2. Write LP and evaluation forms for PASD teaching - This is a headache! (On-going 8 lessons)
3. Compile my Maths folio - Speed and patterns question
4. Beautify Science Gloabal warming PPT
5. Touch up on Maths Games PPT - Presentation on Tue
6. Discussion for Adapted needs - 14th Mar presentation
7. Come up with field trip worksheet and presentation
.
.
.

And the list goes on.

And I seem to take a long time to complete each stuff. Gosh! And my msn logs in on its own.. not helping at all. And I must kick away my habit of reading people's blog. Time to be in solitude until I finish some of the stuff.

I'm missing him..

It was a LONG DAY for me. I woke up at 8am on Friday morning to sms Jimmy to have a great trip to Vietnam. Then I went to school for lessons and went to Rainbow Centre to teach in the afternoon. It's the 1st time all of us had the chance to mingle around these special kids. Some of them are really adorable.. Some of them just makes me feel sad. I don't know how to help them at all.. I was thoroughly worn out by the 1st session because we had to be really enthusiastic and be at the level of the kids in order for them to understand us.

The 2nd group came and I was at lost of what to do. This kid just likes to crawl around and head towards the doors. He has no interest in balls, games or whatever that we had in store for him. So for the whole session, I chased after him and trying to stop him from getting out of the class. This kid has a twin brother who likes to dash for the door too.

Dear God, I pray that You'll give us the wisdom to help these beautiful souls that You've put on earth and give them opportunities to perform to their maximum potential. Help us to have patience and love for them.

After that, I thank God that my lecturer was kind to give me and my friends a lift. Initially I wanted to go for CGM straight from Queenstown, in the end, nobody wanna meet me for dinner. So I decided to go home since my lecturer can give us a lift. I went home, took a bath and had dinner with Ken before going Sembawang. When I crossed the road at Sembawang, it started pouring so heavily. I walked through the blocks and was stranded opposite my destination. Waited for a while and thank God again, the rain started to drizzle. I wasn't drenched when I reach Jason's house. God is sooooooo good to me!

Notice that this is a LONG entry? Well, I said it was a LONG day for me.. This is not the end.

After CGM, we went for overnight prayer meeting! I don't remember going for any overnight prayer meeting last year. So it's been a long time since I last prayed for so long and stood for so long. I was still pretty hyper after the 1st session.. Subsequently, my throat and legs were sore.. and I felt dizzy for a while. Thank God I made it till 5am! I prefer overnight prayer meeting to after service prayer meeting... Although the 1st step to decide to go and stay is always a tough one.

Anyway, Jimmy called me from Vietnam while we were on the way to church. It was so sweet of him. I miss him..

Regret..

I regretted not bringing any notes or books along with me today. After school, I went to the hospital to visit my grandma. My mum wants me to stay there to relief my aunt until dinner time. So, being the filial me, I stayed there from 1+pm till 6+pm.. It was soooooo tiring. Fell asleep on the chair a few times. Must be sensitive to hear my grandma calling me. Learnt to feed her for the 1st time. Dripped food and drinks on her clothes. :( And she had slight fever just before I left the hospital.

I left the hospital with an headache.. I could have better utilise my time if I've brought something along to revise or do. Gosh! Left so many other things undone...

Busy and tired..

It had been a busy and tired week. Got back home late almost every day. Went into mild depression when I know that I couldn't go for a Bintan trip.. May sound silly. But I was all excited and ready to go only to realise that the cost is so high. So was really disappointed and moody for a day.

Anyway, I just got back my tennis rules test. Got 18 out of 20. Very satisfied, considered I only studied a night before the test. =P We had a competition today as assessment too. Partnered Min. We won 2 and lost 1 game. Didn't felt as tired as previously. Maybe we didn't really use much force and effort as our objective was to get the ball over the net and in play. 2 more games to go 2 weeks later.

Just heard that it will be our recess week next week. Meaning, hols next week! Thank God!

Grandma is strong and adorable!

I seriously think my grandma is a very strong woman! She's 89 this year and of all her life, she has never seen a doctor until recently. All other parts of her body is functioning well now except her lungs and that's causing her to have a lot of phlegm and she's malnutrition. Besides that, she's fine! I'm amazed! I think I have more problems than her.

Seeing her so thin and fragile in bed makes me feel sad and helpless. The adorable part of her is, she kept saying that she's hungry and wanna eat porridge. She said that every 15-30min while I was there visiting. I guess, she must have really felt hungry. She's being tube-fed every 3 hrs with milk now. The nurse at AH is really nice and patient. We kept asking for her help and clarification and she never showed us any bad temper or impatience. AH will always be my 1st choice!

I wish and pray for the best for her!

I slept and I slept and I slept..

Yesterday I slept at 5+pm after writing the entry.. and I woke up at 7+pm for dinner because mum said need to go hospital to visit grandma.. In the end, she said no need to go.. So I went back to sleep again. I continued sleeping until I was woken up by an sms. Replied, talked on the phone for a while at 11+pm and went back to sleep somemore. Finally, I woke up at 6am to do my work. But I went back to sleep again at 7+am.

And here I am now.. I really need to wake up to do some other work. Up up up!!!!

Grandma is in hospital..

Happy Chinese New Year to all!

I had a very busy Chinese New Year.. never felt so tired before. This year I did a lot of visitation on the second day. Will only reach home late at night. I thought I could have dinner at Jimmy's aunt's house last night and go home early to rest.. but.. received a call that my grandma is in hospital due to lung infection. So I missed the dinner and got home late again last night.

I'm super tired physically now. Gave today's 8.30am lesson a miss so that I can sleep one hour more. Then I went to school for 3 hours of tennis. I need rest badly. So, I shall take a nap now. Tata!

Monday, February 04, 2008

I'm blessed!

Chinese New Year's coming!! It's gonna be long hols for most of us! I'm so excited and looking forward to watching a few movies:

1) Ah Long Pte Ltd
2) Kung Fu Dunk
3) CJ7
4) Jumper (maybe)

I'm blessed to have someone by my side to spend time and watch movies with me this new year and from this day forth.. God is good!

And here's 2 coincidences that I noticed:

1) My bro's wife and Jimmy live in Jurong West.
2) My bro's wife and Jimmy can't take spicy food.

Does that mean that people living in Jurong West can't take spicy food? Haha!

Photo updates!

Yes! I cleared 2 assignments today and finally can take a breather.. So I'm gonna upload all the nice photos that I'd taken last Sat at the Kranji War Memorial.. The photos are REEEEEAAALLY nice! Especially after special effects had been added. Haha!

BEWARE! You are entering into an entry with a lot of tombstones..

One of my nicest picture with contrast in the depth of field.

Another satisfied shot from me!
Photobucket

This is the ultimate picture that reminded me of the song.. FIND ME AT THE CROSS..
Photobucket

I had a tiring but fun day.. The only not so fun part was trying to be sad and posing for the pictures.. I find it hard to feel and look sad. Not like him. What an actor!

And, I actually had sunburnt on my face and ugly tone on my thighs now.. Gosh.

hUi at Starbucks!

I'm currently at Starbucks@Cityhall. Decided to do my work here instead of staying at home because I guess I'll waste my time taking naps instead of doing my work. Indeed, this is more effective than me trying to do work at home. To tell you the truth, I struggled to come out of my house after bathing jus now.. BUT, for the sake of an easier and more relaxed night, I crucified my flesh and came out to STARBUCKS! Finished part of my work.. still so much more to do.. Finally had my vanilla ice blended after MANY failed attempts. I'm hungry now.. Gonna go home real soon for home cooked food!!! Yeah!!!

Will upload some nice photos when I get back home! Hee!

Tired but happy..

It's been a tiring but happy week! We had netball ICG on Tuesday. Though we lost the games, I was actually pretty glad because we then had time to go for supper and I could even take the train home! I think we had a great time of fellowship together at supper. Thank God for the fellowship! Here are the photos.

Look at how zobo I was as a GS (goal shooter) and see how tall my opponent is..
Photobucket

Here are all my teammates except Twinkle. I personally like this picture a lot!
Photobucket

And after our supper at the coffeeshop opposite our church, we took another photo before going home!

All and all, I had a wonderful week!!

God still speaks to me!

It was a great CGM last Friday. Wen asked for people to share a word of encouragement or to sing a song. I wanted to, but I didn't. After hesitating for a while, Wen shared a verse. I was shocked! It's exactly the same verse that I wanted to share. Come to think of it, I regretted not sharing. But I was happy because it was a sign from God that He still speaks to me. I have to work on my faith-CONFIDENCE all over from the scratch.

Then came Sun which was my shifu, Jimmy's bday! We had a great meal at Jack's Place and a few of us went to KTV! Yeah! It's been a long time since we last went to sing. So I enjoyed myself. I took quite a number of pictures.. But I realised, they weren't very nice. SAD. Hopefully my skills will get better after more coaching. Going for a photo shooting trip this Sat!! Yeah!

At Jack's Place.. check out mervyn's hand!! Dangerous!
Photobucket

The birthday Crown Prince with his gift from all of us!

Check out the beard on the Crown Prince as we moved out of Jack's Place to take a group picture!

Well, I wasn't in the pictures again as I was the photographer! Haha.. We need the tripod next time!

Degree Yr 4! Woosh!

Just came back from our frisbee interclass competition, had a warm nice bath and finally resting.

It was tiring running after the frisbee, running around to find SPACE. We didn't make it through our quarter finals. But I think we had enjoyed ourselves! I did! And I sustained my 1st injury for the year 2008.. A blue black on the thumb and knee and some abrasion on the knee too.. Haha! Thank God it's sooooooo minor!

And I'm surprised that Edmund had been smiling and keeping his cool through the game. Unlike that hot tempered Edmund that I saw last year.. My impression of him changed!!! Hahahaha.

Photography is fun!

A few of us met up with our new found friend Jimmy to have dinner on Thursday and he became my shi fu overnight! He's the 1st person that offers to teach me and lend me his expensive and big camera to shoot what I want. WooOo! I had great fun that night taking pictures as we walked from Park Mall to One Fullerton! Enjoy the pictures that I took (edited by my shifu).

Pressure

The 1st week on school is over.. I can already feel my classmates riding full speed in their speedboat. Kind of stressed and pressurised. 1 example, 25% of our assessment in a module is measured by our participation online. Means the faster and more you post your views, the higher chance of getting a higher grade for that 25%. Before I knew it, many of my classmates had already posted their entries. Woooo! Maybe it's time to buck up, mind my own business and stop slacking.

This isn't what studying is all about. Unhealthy competition.

My diploma days were those that's full of fun and support. Everyone helped one another and shared our assignments. There's full transparency in everything that we were doing. We didn't lie our way through-->That's another story altogether.

BUT, I stand firm on my own principles and I will not budge!

Can you believe it??!!

I'm in the comp lab AGAIN. The IT side logged me out of nieportal AGAIN!! I need to reset my password AGAIN. How many AGAIN do I need to have?

Wednesday, January 09, 2008

Tired.

The past few days had been tiring. I'd been rushing home after 7.30pm lessons to have dinner at home on Tuesday and Wednesday. As much as possible, I shouldn't spend too much on food each day, unless necessary (if the occasion calls for it.. hee). Reaching home after 7.30pm for 3 days is tiring, especially after 2 hours of tennis today... I'm sure my right arm will be in pain when I wake up in the morning.

Nothing exciting at the moment yet. Just that I'm finally gonna take part in ICG again. Last sem I had tuition commitment and couldn't make it for any sports. This sem, I'm participating in Ultimate Frisbee next Tue.. hopefully we enter the finals on Thurs.. Following week will be netball and then it'll be floorball. Will see how the timetable goes after next week.

Oh ya.. I wore my 1st top from Ed Hardy on Sun! Here's to show all my beloved who gave it to me.. I like it a lot because it makes me look slim!!! And I had my new watch on with the Batam hair cut.. Not bad!
Photobucket

And the back design. The only thing is, the color seemed to make me looked like I'm naked.. hmmm...
Photobucket

Once again, THANKS!

Monday, January 07, 2008

A good start of the sem...

Ignoring the not so good parts.. I just wanna say that I'm happy that some lecturers are changing the timetable. Which means, I might not have the 7 hrs break starting from next week.

And after I'd blogged earlier on, I left the comp lab, I went to a bench near the squash courts to "organise" my organiser. Then I read the Bible.. Soon after, Xin came to accompany me for an hour! Thanks Xin!! After Xin left for her discussion, Twinkle came and we went for a jog around NIE campus!! Had quite a good fellowship with Twinkle.. consider we've not talked for a very long time. Woohoo!!! I was happy lar! After tennis, Shi came to JP to accompany me for dinner! I had my favorite McSpicy!!! Thanks Shi!!! Thanks for coming down specially to meet and accompany me!! It's not such a bad day after all!!!

Thank God!

I'm bored!

I'm currently in the PESS comp lab ALONE. Ken is sick, Min went home, Twinkle went to library, KC went for lessons.. I'm LEFT BEHIND not knowing what to do for the long 7 hours break. The saddest thing is, I've eaten my lunch, reset my password for portal, printed my notes and there's still 5 hours more to go. And since it's the 1st day of school, there's nothing to read at all!!!

Oh gosh! Anyone wants to help me out by suggesting what I can do for the long break? It'll take a lot of motivation to go to the gym on my own to exercise. As I'm typing, there's only 1 other guy in the lab and he's sleeping.. Hahaha!

Oh ya! I heard a piece of good news last night. My ex student suddenly msn me and said, "I remember that you always invite me to church and I want you to know that I've converted last Dec!" Wow! What a great piece of news! Though I didn't contribute to her conversion, but I was glad for her. That's what it meant by, "When one is saved, all the angels rejoice.." I'm rejoicing even though I'm not an angel. Hee!

Can 1 man make a difference?

I always believe that when I do my best to love people, I can make a difference in someone's life. Many have loved me and made a difference in my life. I am who I am today because of their love and belief in me. So can 1 man make a difference? Yes. Definitely.

It may not be a dramatic "CHANGE THE WORLD" difference, but it's a "change the world one soul at a time" difference. Changing a person's life one at a time is more valuable than seeking to change the world at large.

Often as I looked back, I can't help but feel sad for those who left the church. It really showed that I've not made a significant difference in their lives. But there are also those who stayed and grew strong. However, many a times, I tend to focus on those who left and make myself miserable. How I wish I can get them back into the House of God. How I wish I can undo all the wrong things that I've done. How I wish I had done something differently previously... Well, it's not gonna change anything by feeling sad and affected now. I have to stop lamenting on these people. I can only pray for them now. Like what Pastor Kong said today:

该走的人,始终还是要走的. What a sad truth.

Will they come back?

School's gonna start!!!

It's the last sem of NIE days!!! Am I looking forward to it? Well, no.. But I think I'm gonna make full use of the facilities and my time in school. I'm gonna focus in doing all that I'm set to do. May bring my laptop to school every Mon since I have such long breaks in between. What else can I do? I'm gonna have prayer jog with Ken! Anyone else wanna join us? I need to go back to gym and start working out.

Things that I want to do this year:
1. Pray consistently
2. Read the Bible daily
3. Exercise regularly
4. Join TV ministry
5. Spend within my means
6. Learn to say no to unnec. stuff
7. Study my best!

No more tuition due to time constraints. So FOCUS is all on studies! Finances lies in His hands. Best year yet!

I've got very terrible timetable this Sem!!! Every day end late. Monday is the ultimate day starting at 8.30am, with 7 hours break in between and ending at 7.30pm. I'll be away from home for more than 12 hours!!! Wednesday also start at 8.30am and end at 7.30pm. It's all because of Tennis! Should I drop tennis and learn something else? Oh God! I'm not looking forward to school at all.. Anyone wanna open their hostel for me to sleep in??
Celebrated Huiwen's birthday on the 2nd of January! Didn't expect to stay overnight, but her friends decided not to stay and I have nothing on.. So I stayed to accompanied her and the rest of the people. We visited Old Changi Hospital!! Had a tour there and took some pictures to entertain ourselves..

Here's a recount of the last few days of 2007.

29th Dec:

Went for my ex CG Appreciation. I was very touched by Kim's testimony and I almost cried. It's such a great joy to see her grow in maturity and broke through to become who she is today. It's been a long time since I last spent time with them. So I enjoyed myself fellowshiping with them.

Here's my pretty Kim. I'm always proud of you, Kim!

And here's my very pretty and handsome "boys and girls" from W220 who have become men and women!
Photobucket

They gave me very nice card.. (ahem, nicest one that I've received from them..).. and a top from Ed Hardy! I was really surprised because I didn't expect them to give me such an expensive gift. Thanks W220. I really treasure our friendship and love all of you.

Sorry the top hasn't been ironed yet.. so it's quite crumpled. Here's the front.

And the back.
Photobucket

I'll wear it to service this Sunday and take pictures with it again.

And I want to thank one person from W362 who is always so encouraging in his words. Thanks Daniel. Talking to you always makes me feel so warm and loved. I didn't really spend a lot of time with you but I can always feel your sincerity in your words. Love you too, bro!
Photobucket

To cut it all short because I've emailed the individual one's to declare my love and appreciation, I shall end with a COOL pic! Kim in the suitcase!!

Ops.. such a long entry for 29th Dec alone.. I'll now jump to 31st Dec 2007 and 1st Jan 2007!!

I went to Batam with my current CG, N333! It was a good trip because finally I bought more things than I did when we went JB the other time. Haha.. I went there to have a haircut and did foot reflexiology. I now have a STUDENT toot toot haircut and the foot reflexiology was PAINFUL but shiok after that.

Following will be LOTS of pictures from Batam.

Batam Ferry Terminal.

Those who took the 1st ferry to Batam. Check out the "can't-be-bothered-to-take-picture" Merf.

Not forgetting Wendy's SUAVE husband, Kenneth! So here's Gorgeous Wendy and Suave Kenneth!

After we reached, Merf now posed for the picture!

We went to the supermarket to buy groceries. Yes! You didn't hear wrongly. We went to buy groceries even though we are only staying one night in Batam. Look at how much Kenneth bought.

The gala dinner at night was unexpectedly good! There's steak, lobsters, crab, salmon, crepes, Kebab, teppanyaki vegetables with meat and many more. We had a sumptuous meal. Showing you the party pack that we received! The 3 Musketeers!
Photobucket

We count down in the guys' room, celebrated Mervyn Goh's birthday, and had our short appreciation there. The fireworks in Batam continued for more than 1 hour. Happy Birthday Mervyn! The whole world is celebrating for you!

Check out the amount of DONUTS we all bought from J.Co. I bought 4 boxes of 12 back. I was surprised that DONUTS can actually be so heavy. Wanted to give to my friends. However, I was so disappointed by the response given. I wanted to deliver it to a friend's house but the friend said don't have to and refused to give me her address. What am I going to do with the box of donuts? Eat them myself?? Another friend is so busy that we don't have a chance to meet at all. Alright. So it was a wasted effort and money in wanting to bless some of them. I feel so foolish. Resolution for 2008: I won't do such silly thing again.

Here's a group photo before we left the hotel.. with the donuts at the foreground.

Overall, it was an enjoyable trip.. Just that I didn't get to do SPA at all! Had planned to go Sauna and swimming in the morning on 1st Jan but I couldn't because the unwanted body mechanism triggered just before the clock struck 12 and it's 2008!

Anyway, I want to use this space to thank my dearest Wendy for organising this trip. It's really a great joy and privilege to be under you. If not for your constant encouragements and your belief in me, I wouldn't be around anymore. Thanks for not despising me but standing by me during the darkest moment of my life. Without you, there won't be me now. I love you!

Thanks my dear, Eunice for blessing me with the shorts. I really love it a lot. Thanks for standing me during my darkest moments too. You've seen me during my ups and downs and you've continued to support, encourage and bless me. Thanks for being my best friend ever in my life. I love you!

I'm looking forward to a brighter and better 2008!!
